Paul Brooks, Chairman, CILT (UK)

Paul took up his position on 1st November 2007 having previously been Vice Chairman from March 2006. Paul has been involved closely with the development of the Institute since 1995 with the original formation of today's Forums and was a founder member of the Inventory Management Forum. He has been Chair of the Supply Chain Faculty since August 2003 and a Board member since August 2004, he currently Chairs the Faculty Co-ordination Committee.
As a full time role, Paul has responsibility for the sales development of logistics solutions for a wide range of clients on behalf of Unipart Logistics, a division of the Unipart Group. Paul has developed solutions with clients in the retail, technology and aerospace sectors across Europe and is currently involved with the deployment of solutions based upon Unipart Logistics' unique way of working known as 'The Unipart Way'. Paul joined Unipart in January 2000 as managing director of Unipart's e-fulfillment business. Through the creation and launch of ufulfil.com he was responsible for delivering fulfillment solutions to multi channel retail clients and since it's integration into Unipart Logistics to rapidly growing clients such as ASOS.com.
Paul has extensive experience in the third party logistics sector, having previously held positions as managing director of Cert Logistics and business director with Exel Logistics. Prior to these posts Paul held senior positions in Business Services, IT and Automotive companies.
Paul holds a first degree in Mathematics and MBA from Kingston Business School. He is a board member of Skills for Logistics (the sector skills council in logistics) and visiting lecturer to Cranfield University. Paul is a regular speaker at seminars and conferences on many supply chain, innovation and related technology topics.

Prof Jose Luis Nueno, IESE BUSINESS SCHOOL

José L. Nueno is a Professor in the Marketing department at IESE. He received his Doctorate of Business Administration (Marketing) at Harvard University, Master of Business Administration at IESE and Degree in Law at the Universidad de Barcelona.
His areas of interest include distribution channels and manufacturer/distributor relationships. He has published articles on globalization, marketing of consumer goods and luxury goods and relationship marketing. He has taught at a several business schools, including the elective course of Industrial Marketing at INSEAD, France as well as other management programs. He was a visiting professor at the University of Michigan and in joint programs with the University of Michigan and IESE in Vevey, Switzerland and Shanghai, China. In 2003 he was part of the faculty team for the Harvard Business School AMP Middle East Program and the Strategic Program for Retail Managers.
He is a member of the Boards of Directors of a number of leading international companies. He is also a corporate consultant (since 1986 he has worked on more than 150 projects for global clients), and advises national and international corporations in the area of marketing and strategy.

Patrik Jansson, Vice President - Head of Supply Chain Operations, SONY ERICSSON

Patrik Jansson is a business executive in Supply Chain and has been working with different parts within this area for almost 20 years and since 3 years as Head of Supply Chain Operations at Sony Ericsson Mobile Communications.
For the last 4 years Patrik has had a significant role as part of an improvement program that improved the supply chain performance to such a level resulting in AMR rated the Sony Ericsson Supply Chain as top 16 Supply Chain globally.
He is a dedicated golf player and keen on sports and leisure.

Simon Barrett, Supply Chain Strategy Manager, INTEL

Simon Barrett joined Intel Corp (UK) Ltd in 1991. Simon’s current role as European Logistics Strategy Manager focuses on improving future investment and trade-off decisions within the organization through facilitation, argument design and thought leadership in the areas of direction setting, strategy development and benchmarking.
Simon’s interests include strategy, innovation and benchmarking for the supply chain. Simon’s dissertation for his London Business School Executive MBA, 2002, examined the Intel supply chain in the emerging markets, and recommended a shift in focus from reducing cost to creating value, as well as changes to the direction setting process.
Simon is an Intel Supply Chain Master.

Kevin O'Marah, Chief Strategy Officer, AMR RESEARCH

As chief strategy officer for AMR Research, Kevin O’Marah brings a unique blend of intellectual prowess, practical business experience, and energy to AMR Research’s clients. During his nearly seven years with the firm, Kevin has worked with hundreds of companies on manufacturing, product lifecycle management (PLM), and supply chain strategy.
Kevin launched AMR Research’s PLM practice, and is a seminal author on PLM, having been included in over 100 articles defining the application's footprint, business impact, and market dynamics. He has also contributed to the firm’s definition and coverage of demand-driven supply networks (DDSN), having authored several reports, including the AMR Research Supply Chain Top 25, defining the link to business operating metrics. He was named an AMR Research Fellow in 2002.
Prior to joining AMR Research, Kevin worked on supply chain projects in a variety of industries including telecommunications, semiconductors, and chemicals.
As a vice president at Oracle Corporation, Kevin focused on supply chain and product data management strategy. He spent several years with Gemini Consulting, now part of Ernst & Young (GCE&Y), working with manufacturing companies on supply chain and product strategy. He worked with Mercer Consulting in London and Company Assistance Limited in Warsaw earlier in his career.
Kevin is a graduate of Boston College, Oxford University, and Stanford Business School.

Mick Jones, VP EMEA Global Supply Chain, LENOVO

Mick Jones is Vice President for Global Supply Chain for the PC Manufacturer Lenovo. The Global Supply Chain organisation manages the entire Order to Payment process for customers across EMEA, including Order Entry, Order Management, Manufacturing and Logistics operations.
Mick joined Lenovo from DHL in 2008 where he set up and managed the end to end International Supply Chain organisation responsible for designing and operating global supply chains in the Retail, Consumer, Industrial and Construction market sectors. Mick has worked in senior positions within the International Logistics and Supply Chain Industry for 20 years, in Europe, Asia and the Americas.
Married with 3 Children, Mick lives in rural Northamptonshire.

Tom Carroll, Supply Chain Director, DYSON

Tom has been with dyson for three years - most recently holding the position of Supply Chain Director. The main focus of the role is to bring a global perspective to Dyson logistics and supply chain management. Defining, delivering and operationally executing a scaleable world-class supply chain infrastructure, supporting both origin and destination operations. Through the introduction of a “total logistics concept” approach, dyson have established their optimum physical infrastructure globally, securing both the operational and financial “quick-wins” on the way.
The next phase of our development will be the focus upon delivering longer-term sustainable strategic partnerships across the supply chain, at the same time planning the transition from multiple legacy systems and platforms to one integrated solution.

Emile Naus, Network Strategy Lead, MARKS & SPENCER

Emile Naus is Network Strategy Lead for Marks and Spencer with responsibility for the planning of the UK and international network to support Marks and Spencer's business.
Before joining M&S, he was Long Term Planning Manager for Tesco in the UK, with specific focus on the logistics property development aspects. He was instrumental in getting approval for the construction of the Teesport DC for non-food products, substantially simplifying the inbound supply chain for overseas products.
Emile has also worked for LCP Consulting and Mayne Nickless North America and Benelux

Prof Allan Waller OBE, SUPPLY CHAIN COUNCIL (Member of the SCC Leadership Team)

Alan G Waller is Vice-President for Supply Chain Innovation at the International Consultancy Solving International. He is also Visiting Professor in International Supply Chain Management at Cranfield Centre for Logistics and Supply Chain Management at Cranfield School of Management, President of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and Chairman of the European Logistics Users Providers and Enablers Group (ELUPEG).
In 2007 Alan was appointed to the European Leadership team of The Supply Chain Council, the International not-for-profit organisation responsible for developing and rolling out the SCOR model into Industry.

Chris Dyson, Head of Supply Chain - South West Europe, NOKIA SIEMENS NETWORKS

Chris Dyson has worked for the Nokia Group since 1995. During this time he has been involved in many aspects of the supply chain, including the setting up of a UK manufacturing plant for Base stations, before moving into the sourcing and supply chain planning for the UK plant and customer groups.
Based on the performance of the UK operation, Chris moved into Global and Regional roles for the Nokia Networks business. He has lead the development of future business models and their implementation with special focus on sales and operation planning and ERP / SAP system and supply chain process deployment to support the new Customer driven supply chain model.
Since Nokia and Siemens joined their telecommunications operations in 2007, Chris has been leading the integration of the European region supply chain.
Prior to Nokia group Chris has worked in the Aviation & Defence sector in planning and operational management roles.
