The Lawyer’s 2nd annual conference on dispute resolution will this year focus on bridging the gap between the parties and practitioners of international arbitration. It will also provide in-depth comparative analysis of litigation, mediation and arbitration, discussing how the best solution often differs depending on circumstances and jurisdiction.

To this end, this year’s speaker faculty showcases an unprecedented level of expertise from corporate counsel. This, combined with the presence of a number of VIP General Counsel, will ensure this conference provides the world’s leading form for corporates and practitioners active in dispute resolution to network and share knowledge.

Chaired by Sir Anthony Evans and Peter Leaver QC, this year’s keynote address will be given by John Beechey, the Chair of the ICC Court of Arbitration, who will discuss ICC initiatives to streamline and improve the arbitration process.

  • Irena A. Vanenkova, Executive Director of the International Mediation Institute will examine the conundrum of why mediation has an 80% success rate, but is used only 20% of the time
